Summer Pan Camp
Students ages 8 and older are invited to spend a week learning all about the steelpan!
Pan Camp is a week-long program that invites a group of children new to the steelpan and teaches them playing and performance technique. During the week children learn steelpan technique, performance skills, They also learn the history and culture of the instrument, including the unique building process. Each aspect of the curriculum helps our young students to build confidence, be creative, think in new innovative ways, and build their skills as we move through the week.
Our program also focuses on enhancing social skills and increasing self esteem, self awareness, and confidence while promoting personal expression and creativity. Pan Camp ends with a Community Showcase for family and friends.

Cost: $175 per session
However, there are scholarships available for those in need.

Wilkinsburg Youth Steelpan Workshop
August 13th & 14th
Free for Wilkinsburg Youth ages 8 and up!

Children will learn all about the Steelpan over 2-day workshop period over! Instruction will include; steelpan history, the building and tuning process, and playing and performance technique.
