Programs

  • Let’s Play Pan! 21+

Our Let’s Play Pan events give the public a chance to get an up close look at how the steelpan is made and played. Starting with a brief explanation of the building process and Caribbean culture of the time, followed by  1 or 2 hours of instruction. Let’s Play Pan! is a fun way to meet new people or create an interactive experience with friends. Guests leave each session having learned a few songs a knowing a lot more about the Steelpan. Events include a sampling of traditional Caribbean food and drinks.

  • Community Engagements

Our community engagement projects go far past a performance. In addition we show how the steelpan is built (including tools and process) how the instrument is tuned, and let the audience try to play themselves. We provide and interactive and educational experience.
