Barrels to Beethoven connects audiences through music, culture, and history. Our steelpan education programs are designed to provide youth and adults with a well-rounded music education experience in a joyful and affirming atmosphere. In 2020 we discovered creative and innovative ways to continue our mission of providing impactful arts education, teaching accurate historical and cultural content, and inspiring a new generation of steelpan builders, tuners, players, and teachers.
It has been a challenging yet fulfilling year. We are excited about the upcoming partnerships and programming that we have planned for 2022. Programs like; The Community Steel Orchestras Project, Let's Play Pan, Band Together, and The Pan Builders Program will provide opportunities for all to learn and benefit from steelpan and music education.
